The Delegation of the Academy of Sciences and Arts of Bosnia and Herzegovina, led by President Academician Muris Čičić, was in Zenica-Doboj Canton today, where he met with Prime Minister Nezira Pivić and Minister for Education, Science, Culture and Sport Mirz Mush.
– I am pleased to continue cooperation with the Academy of Sciences and Arts of Bosnia and Herzegovina, one of our most important institutions, the symbol of the statehood of Bosnia and Herzegovina. We hereby support its strengthening and we believe that in the future they will have stable funding at the state level, as it fits. Until then, we will definitely continue to support Anubih – said Prime Minister Nezir Pivić.
The Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sport Mirza Mušija emphasized that the commitment of Zenica-Doboj Canton is the continued support of Ana BiH and that the Memorandum on Collapers was signed a few years ago.
– We recognized the work of the academy as a factor in integration and preservation of everything that holds the state together. In the time when many forces work on its displacement, it is important that there is a clear counterpoint. The Academy also has the obligation and strength to oppose the statements of the statehood of Bosnia and Herzegovina. Unfortunately, it happened that the lower levels of government recognize that value, while the state level is absent – it said silly.
President Ana BiH, academician Muris Čičić, pointed out that the academy “left itself – to first fight for its own survival, and only for the original goals of the Academy: the development of scientific work and its contribution to social development.”
– The hardest situation is precisely when it comes to the stability of the action of Ana BiH, which, as in any European state, should be a symbol of the State and Constitutional Order. It is important that we preserve the academy to better times – said Academician Čičić.
He added that Ana BiH is mostly dependent on the help of lower levels of government – primarily thanked for the support provided by Sarajevo, Tuzla, Una-Sanski, Zenica-Dobojno and Central Bosnia Canton, as well as the Government of the Federation of BiH.
