The Federal Civil Protection Administration published instructions by citizens to adhere to in the case of floods to protect property and their own safety.
It is recommended that they raise valuable things to raise the places or rooms of several floors, to prepare drinking water, and not drinking water from the fountain because it can be polluted.
It is also proposed for a readiness for possible evacuation with the prepared emergency bag, and monitoring the funds of public information and the treatment of the instructions on the competent services.
It is recommended to avoid walking through floodwater if their level exceeds the knees.
“Don’t go through the water by car or some other means of transport, and you can’t leave the vehicle immediately, and climb to those who need help, in particular endangered persons, sick, guests and people with disabilities.”
Also, they emphasize that after the water withdrawal, fresh food, water or medications that there is the possibility that they have come to contact with contaminated water.
“Do not use water from water pipes until the competent services confirm that it is safe to use,” the instructions are stated.
