More than 1,500 athletes from 104 countries participate in that world sports and inclusive vision.
The representatives of the BiH Special Olympics, eight of them will perform in alpine skiing and the Nordic run.
In alpine skiing, Edna Šunjić – Slalom and Giant Slalom, Spomenko Martinović – Slalom, Giant Slalom and Super G, and Rasim Bajrić – Slalom and Gender Slalom. The competitors will be coaches Samir Halilović and Asim Topalović.
In the Nordic running, Amina Halilović – 500 mi 1.000 m, Sedina Brkić- 500 m and 1,000 m, Mesud Kasum – 500 mi 1.000 m, Kenan Topalović – 500 mi 1.000 m, and Njegos Mihajlović – 5,000 mi 7.5 km. Bojan Vujinović and Edina Pasic will be with them.
Medical support bh. The team will provide Dr. Damir Sabitović, while for sports competitions and inclusive activities on sports arenas, Jasmin Gavranović and Vedad Chengic will be coaches.
The spectacular ceremony of the opening of the World Winter Games of the Special Olympics will be organized tonight with the presence of a large number of supernior athletes, and competitors travel to Sistriers where sports competitions are held from the BiH Special Olympics.
