HKK Široki celebrated after a dramatic finish on the road at KK Jahorin with a score of 79:82 in the 6th round of the BiH Basketball Championship.
This was a duel between two undefeated teams before this round, and Široki won the only one hundred percent team in the domestic championship.
They are a match better opened by the guests who led throughout the first quarter. After the first ten minutes, Široki’s basketball players held the lead 17:23.
Second quarter – second game. The guests shot stopped, and the home team takes the initiative and after six minutes of play in the sequel they come to + 10 (40:30). In the following, the Širokibrježa team managed to reduce the deficit so that the home team went to the break with a five-point advantage (45:40).
After two minutes in the second half, Jahorina increased the lead to 52:40. Shiroki’s coach Marijan Bagarić he immediately reacted with a minute of rest, but his players did not respond well on the floor even after the time-out. So is the third quarter spent in the home team so in the last ten minutes the Jahorina team entered with a nine-point lead (67:58).
She followed in the sequel a real fight. Široki takes the lead four minutes before the end (75:77). In the dramatic finale, the victory went to the guests, who are still undefeated in the BiH Championship.
Jalen Anthony Graham was the most effective among the home team with 20 points, while Jalyn MC Creary led the visitors with 23 points.
The next match HKK Široki will play in Tuesday when the team arrives at Pecar TFT Skopje. The match is scheduled from 18 hours.
