President BH. The entity Republika Srpska Milorad Dodik crossed the border with Serbia last night and went to Batajnica, where he attended the celebration of the NATO bombing anniversary. He traveled to Israel yesterday, from where he answered.

Central warrant
If the central warrant is announced for a person, each of the 16 police agencies and administrations in Bosnia and Herzegovina may be arrest, legal regulations at all levels of government, from the cantonal, entity to the state.

What after the arrest?
As he explained earlier, the police authority that arrests a person for which the warrant was announced, first reports that the body that has been the warrant and announced.
“In this case, the Prosecutor’s Office of BiH appear, and then a person in the Prosecution, and then they continue to act with that person in accordance with their legal competencies,” said earlier former Security Minister Dragan Mektić.

Next step – international warrant
In the event that the person for whom the warrant of the border crosses, the judicial authorities may request the announcement of the international warrant through the BiH Ministry of Justice. Namely, the BiH Criminal Procedure Act provides that the warrant is announced by the competent ministry, and in this case it is the Ministry of Justice of BiH, and on the basis of the requirements of the competent court or prosecutor’s office.
If the person abroad is arrested according to the international warrant, through the Interpol, the Ministry of Justice of BiH is informed.
After that, the Ministry forwards the information to the Court or Prosecutor’s Office, who should then submit a proposal for extradition and complete extraditional documentation, to submit a country where a person should be extradited.
The Law on International Legal Assistance in Criminal Matters also envisions the BiH Minister of Justice to submit a request to the extradition in the Foreign State, if a criminal proceeding is being made against him, a prison sentence is made.
