From Frankfurt to St. Louisa, a transoceanic flight lasting 9.45 hours is waiting for them, so they should land on American soil at 1.25 pm local time, or 8.25 pm Central European time.
The team selected by coach Sergej Barbarez will continue preparations for the World Cup in the city where the largest expatriate Bosnian community in North America lives. In St. Louis will also have a dress rehearsal for the World Cup when they will play a match against Panama on Saturday, June 6, at 9 p.m. our time, at 2 p.m. local time.
The day after the match, the expedition of the popularly called “Dragons” will travel to Toronto, where on June 12, they will play the match of the first round of Group “B” of the World Cup against the host Canada.
From June 13, our team will stay at a permanent base in Salt Lake City, again in the USA, from where they will travel to the remaining matches of the World Cup. It is certain that they will travel from the base to Los Angeles (USA) on June 18 for the second round match against Switzerland, and six days later to Seattle (USA) for the match of the third competition round in the group against outsiders Qatar.
As Vijesti.ba wrote earlier, interestingly, Bosnia and Herzegovina will be the national team that will travel the most in the group stage of the competition out of all 48 World Cup participants, as our national team will fly over 5,000 kilometers.
If they win one of the first two places in the group or are among the eight best third-placed in 12 groups, they will continue the competition in the round of 16.
