The Cypriot club AEK from Larnaca reached an agreement with Bosnia and Herzegovina. goalkeeper Vedad Muftić, who signed a contract for the next two years.
Vedad Muftić has so far defended the colors of Željeznicar, where he made his way from the youth selections to the first team.
In the younger categories, he made 34 appearances, while in the senior squad he collected 131 official appearances and became one of the recognizable names of the club.
This transfer represents an important step in his career, and Muftić in AEK Larnaca should get a new opportunity on the international stage and try himself in a different competitive environment.
He had his last appearance in the Željezničar jersey recently in Koševo during the eternal derby, after which he cried and it was already clear then that he was going to say goodbye.
