The Vatican office published the first photo of Pope Francis after his hospitalization. The photo shows the Franje Papa in the Hospital Chapel Gemelli in Rome.

On Sunday, the Vatican office, for the first time since the beginning of his hospitalization a month, announced that Pope Franjo interrupted Mass in the Hospital Chapel Gemelli in Rome.

The eight-year-old Pontif is in the hospital in Rome because of inflammation of the lungs, and this is his longest stay in the hospital since he was elected the Pope 12 years ago.
Earlier Sunday, Pope thanked all those who sent him prayers during his “period of temptation”, in the text of his weekly angelus prayer that was advanced in advance in the media.
A few minutes after 5:30 in the morning, dozens of school kids gathered in the square in front of the hospital to show their support by raising yellow and white balloons – the colors of the Holy Chair – and shouted “Viva Il Papa”, in front of the hospital.
