The women’s association “RUKA” from Kalošević won the first place for the overall impression in the presentation of traditional cuisine and customs of Bosnia and Herzegovina at the recently held fair, once again confirming the importance of preserving tradition, togetherness and cultural heritage.
The association said that for them the award is not just a recognition, but a confirmation that love, effort and commitment are always recognized.
– At the fair, we didn’t just present dishes, but a part of our tradition, our families, our nans and everything that we lovingly keep and pass on – said Kalošević from UŽ “RUKA”.
They especially emphasized that, apart from the recognition won, the biggest value of the event was the smiles, togetherness and warmth that the participants shared with each other during the fair.
The association thanked the organizers for their hospitality and trust, as well as the expert jury that recognized the effort, authenticity and love woven into every detail of their sofre.
They also expressed their gratitude to the members of the association who spent days preparing traditional dishes, kneading, cooking and arranging the exhibition space.
– Once again they showed how much strength, knowledge and togetherness women carry when they work with their heart – they said.
UZ “RUKA” also thanked all other associations that participated in the fair, emphasizing that each table was a story in itself and proof of the richness of diversity and tradition that lives through the people who preserve it.
From the fair, as they state, they bring much more than awards and recognition – new friendships, beautiful memories and additional motivation to continue preserving traditions, customs and the spirit of community.
