The American Vice President JD Vance stated that the United States does not want to expand the conflict with Iran and want to launch a new diplomatic process.
By visiting Meet The Press on the NBC, Vance said that the goal is to end the Iranian nuclear program without further escalation.
“We don’t want to spread the conflict more than it has already gone too far. We want to talk to Iranians about long-term agreement,” Vance said.
In the ABC conversation, he added that American air strike “are not against Iran, but against the Iranian nuclear program.” He pointed out that the President Donald Trump “thoroughly acted” to stop the threat.
Vance emphasized that the United States has no interest in sending additional troops or to change the regime in Iran.
The X platform praised the US Army and the National Security Team, especially due to coordination during this morning attack.
“The operation was the testimony of the skill of American pilots and team disciplines. I am proud, and I know that the president was,” Vance said.
