Ukrainian parliament, supreme work, on Tuesday adopted a resolution on the maintenance of elections after the “insurance of comprehensive, fair and sustainable peace” in the country, has published a MP Yaroslav Železnjak.
The decision was supported by 268 representatives, while 12 was abstained, a railway said.
The day before, parliament lacked votes for adopting a resolution in the first reading, the Kiev Ukrainian Portal of Kiev Independent.
The resolution on “Support Democracy in Ukraine faced Russian aggression” prescribes that elections cannot be held under the extraordinary situation, emphasizing the “need for continuity lead” in such circumstances.
The resolution comes after US President Donald Trump called the President of the Zelenian “dictator” in his public Social Networks Truth Social 19. February, accusing him to hold the elections and repeats false warstances in Ukraine.
