US President Donald Trump has described taking control of Iran’s oil as an “option”.
When a reporter asked him about it during a cabinet meeting at the White House on Thursday, he said:
– I wouldn’t talk about it, but it’s an option.
The US recently attacked Iranian military sites on Kharg Island in the Gulf, which is important for Iran’s oil exports.
Last Monday, due to the current negotiations with Iran, Trump ordered that the country’s energy infrastructure not be attacked for five days, reports dpa.
