According to Monday Memorandum, Trump renewed direct or indirect financial transactions with subjects controlled by the Cuban Army, with exemptions for transactions that promote American policy objectives or support the Cuban people.
Biden has annulled Trump Order 2017, which limited financial transactions with some military and government subjects associated with Cuba.
The new memorandum “implements the legal prohibition of American tourism in Cuba and ensures compliance through regular audits and mandatory records related to all travel transactions for at least five years,” the White House Informative List.
Also, it supports the economic embargo of Cuba and opposes calls in the United Nations and other international forums for his termination.
Kuban Foreign Minister Bruno Rodriguez published X to “Presidential Memorandum against Cuba, published by the US government, strengthens aggression and the economic blockade of the entire Cuban people and the main obstacle to their development.”
