US President Donald Trump said in an interview with the Wall Street Journal that he has large bruises on his arm due to the aspirin he takes, and he denied claims that he fell asleep during public meetings.
He explained the bruises on his arm as the result of the aspirin he takes daily to thin the blood.
“I don’t want thick blood running through my heart,” said the US president.
In an interview in which he claimed to be in good health, Trump corrected his previous statement that he had an MRI in October, saying it was actually a CT scan.
Trump, who at 79 is the oldest person to assume the presidency in the United States, said that his health is perfect and expressed frustration with the media’s excessive interest in the subject.
