AmericaCzech President Donald Trump attacked “corrupt journalists” after the head of the BBC resigned from the British broadcaster over a scandal surrounding the editing of a documentary about the US president.
Trump said that “corrupt journalists” had been exposed, adding that “these are very dishonest people who tried to move the tide of the presidential election.”
Criticism arose over clips spliced from Trump’s speech on January 6, 2021, when he was accused of inciting a mob attack on the US Capitol in an effort to keep him in power despite losing his re-election race, FP reports.
