Donald Trump said on Wednesday that if Iran meets the agreed terms, the conflict between the US and Israel with Iran could end, and the Strait of Hormuz could be reopened to international shipping.
Trump stated on the Truth Social platform that the “already legendary Operation Epic Rage” could be completed, with the lifting of the blockade that would allow free passage for all ships, including Iranian ones.
At the same time, he warned that, in case of non-compliance with the agreement, “the bombing would begin and it would be much more intense than before”.
On the other hand, the naval forces of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps announced that safe passage through the strait will be ensured with new procedures and the end of American threats.
In the first reaction to the temporary pause in US operations, the IRGC did not specify the new measures, but thanked ship owners and captains for respecting Iranian regulations in that strategic waterway.
