Trbić: All is not lost, we have a chance and I believe we can respond

Coach Marko Trbić is aware of the gravity of the situation, but says that the team still believes they can turn the season around.

– All is not lost, we have a chance and I believe we can respond. We are trying to find solutions, we are working and looking for a way for the team to react. We have to win and we are all aware of that – said Trbić.

Although the results were not at the expected level, coach Sloboda believes that the problem is not in the efforts of the players.

– I can’t say that there was no combativeness or discipline. Maybe we lacked a little more enthusiasm in certain moments, but the boys are working and fighting. Sometimes things just don’t go the way you want them to – said Trbić.

He added that the atmosphere in the team is still stable, despite the pressure brought by a series of defeats.

– We talked after the last game. It is clear to everyone where we are and what this game means to us. This is the last chance to stay in the game – emphasized the coach of Tuzlak.

During the conversation, Trbić also talked about the coaching job, the pressure of results and examples from European basketball, emphasizing that even the greatest coaches are not spared from criticism and dismissals when results are lacking.

The meeting of the fourth round for Sloboda has the epithet of a “to be or not to be” game, because a possible new defeat would significantly distance Tuzla from the fight for the top of the table.
