Due to the deterioration of the security situation in the Middle East, some Slovenian travel agencies have canceled or redirected their arrangements to other countries.
While the authorities are rescuing citizens who were trapped in the countries of the Persian Gulf before the outbreak of the conflict, travel agencies are also concerned about the return of their guests, reports RTV Slovenia.
– The Relax agency rescued a group of tourists returning from Zanzibar via Dubai. We extended the stay at the hotel for these guests at the expense of the agency and we organized a plane ticket for them via London so that they arrived home safely the day before yesterday – the agency explains.
Passengers also have the option of refunding their money, but most choose other destinations, Tanjug reported.
