There is nothing to amend the Law on Pension and Disability Insurance in the part of the parameters being taken in increasing pensions, Mustafa Trakić, a member of the Management Board of the Association of the FBiH Pensioners Association. He says that it is already certain that the mass protesters of the pensioners in the Federation of BiH are going in April.
– We searched from the line ministry and the Government of the Federation to form a working group that would work on changes in parameters for increasing pensions and gave the deadline by the end of March to change the Law on Pension and Disability Insurance. The group was formed. We requested that instead of current parameters, 50 percent of the growth of gross domestic product and 50 percent of the growth of the consumer price index, introduce the parameters average salary in FBiH and consumer prices. Our proposal was 70 percent from the growth of the average net salary in the FBiH and 30 percent of the growth of consumer prices and it was rejected.
