Tottenham footballer Destiny Udogie suffered further embarrassment after thieves broke into his £150,000 Range Rover during a Spurs game.
According to media reports, upon returning to the vehicle, Udogie found the rear window broken and glass everywhere, and the car was seriously damaged.
This incident comes just months after Udogie was allegedly the target of a gunshot threat by a football agent.
The police then announced that they had received a threat report, and that another case of alleged blackmail and threats related to the same person was also mentioned in the investigation, with no reported injuries.
Coach Thomas Frank expressed regret for what happened and pointed out that it was a “terrible situation”, stressing that he could not go into details due to the legal process.
He added that the club and the coaching staff did everything to support the player and will continue to do so.
According to the Daily Mail, 23-year-old Udogie was reportedly “broken” after seeing the damage to the car, with only a hanger and a carton of water left in the trunk.
