The Government of the Federation of BiH, on the proposal of the Federal Ministry of Physical Planning, has made the implementation of current transfer programs for the co-financing of joint projects with international financial and other organizations, in the total amount of 1,570,000 KM.
The funds are intended for three project activities with the aim of implementing energy efficiency measures and modernization on nine of the 15 selected public buildings in accordance with the list verified by donors – German Development Bank (KFW).
The proposer explained that the project “Energy efficiency in public buildings” for the Federation of BiH refers to the promotion of energy efficient renewal and modernization of selected public buildings in the education sector in BiH. The main goal of the project is to improve the energy efficiency of public buildings, with a focus on colleges, schools and kindergartens, and thus providing public services in the education sector, as well as poverty reduction. The purpose of the project is to contribute to economic and social development in BiH, and protect the climate globally.
Today, a decision was determined that the approval and allocation of funds will be deployed in the manner and according to the dynamics of the implementation of the project, in accordance with the provisions of the International Financial and Project Agreement and the Rules of the German Development Bank (KFW) and the FBiH Budget Act for 2025. Year.
Federal Ministries of Physical Planning, and Finance, each within its competence, are in charge of the implementation of this Decision. The Federal Ministry of Physical Planning will submit reports on the estimated funds in the Federal Ministry of Finance and the Government of the Federation of BiH.
