The “Ramadan in Mostar” event will be held for the fourth year in a row, from 28. February, when the festive opening is planned in different locations in the city in the Neretva, and, within the event, the Eilvira Rahić will hold the last day of its duration.
The event enriches the spiritual, cultural and social life of Mostar during the month of Ramadan, Majlis Majar, the Cultural Center of Mostar, the Cultural Center of the City of Mostar, the City Council, the Government of the HNK and other sponsors and friends.
The press conference on the announcement of the event was held in the City Hall of the City of Mostar, and representatives of the city of Mostar, organizational committees, as well as key partners of the event.
Gianni Rahimic, Chairman of the City Council of the City of Mostar, pointed out the importance of supporting the city and the City Council to such events.
– We are extremely glad that we can continue this year with the realization of the event with the support of the city of Mostar and the City Council. The event is well received by citizens and not only represent the opportunity to shine our city in full splendor, but also to attract the visitor’s attention through rich and quality program content, and enrich the cultural offer of Mostar. Through the guest appearances of prominent artists, exhibitors and lecturers, this event contributes to the promotion of cultural heritage, art and spirituality – said Rahimic.
Amira Trbonja, the principles of the Department of Economy, Utilities and Inspection Affairs of the City of Mostar, emphasized that the effort was invested this year that the city of Mostar shines with a special light.
– The decoration of Fejić’s street has already begun, so that our city will get one new rumo until the beginning of Ramadan. On Friday, 28Febroira with early at 6 pm we will be invalidated in the month of Ramadan, and, given that the start of the independence of Bosnia and Herzegovina, the state flag will be filed in Tabija, “said Amira Trbon.
Almina Bajramović, representative of the Organizing Committee, presented the event program.
– We are pleased to announce the rich manifestation program this year. In the next month, Mostar will be the center of various cultural, spiritual and artistic events that will bring together citizens, guests and all those who want to feel a special atmosphere during Ramadan – said Bajramović.
Azem Feriz, President of the BZK “Revival”, spoke of exhibitions and lectures within the event, and pointed out that the Organizing Committee has prepared several significant exhibitions this year that will enrich the cultural life of Mostar in Ramazan days.
– We are extremely proud to introduce the exhibition of Islamic calligraphies from Ircica from Istanbul in the first week. It is one of the most recognized institutes in the world, and they are preparing our exhibition of calligraphic works for the largest Kaligrafa today. The second exhibition is called “Mostar Tarich”, and it is an exhibition of tarih printed in Arabic alphabet on various facilities in Mostar and Blagaj. This year, Karadjoz-beg library celebrates 20 years from reactivation, the exhibition of editions of Muftice of Mostar, Majlis from Mostar and Karadjoz-beg library is organized on this occasion. The last exhibition is again the exhibition of calligraphic works, but this time one domestic association, the “Kaligraf” associations from Mostar. This time, as a gathering place after the teral-prayer, Roznamedžija Madrasa in Bunur was recognized, where the president of the BZK “Revival” GD Mostar will be held.
Senad Suljić, director of the Center for Mastar Culture, announced a rich concert program.
– Through our activities, we want Mostar and its citizens bring the atmosphere of Ramazan heat, community and spirituality. As part of the program, we have prepared a number of concerts that will contribute to the ceremony this month. For 7. March expects us a concert of Zejda Šote and Mustafa Demircija in the USRC Midhad Hujdur – Huka. These are artists known for their interpretations of spiritual music. The Concert “Orient from Bosnia”, Sead and Idris Mrahorović will provide us with an evening filled with emotions and tradition. This is followed by the Hora Concert “Rejjan”, which is recognizable by the execution of Ilahi and the Casside. Chess Isaković-Jelačić is an interpreter that brings deep connection with traditional and spiritual music with his voice and emotion, and the Mostar audiences will be processed by a concert in the last third of the month of Ramadan. A special significance has a Bajram concert, which will be held in the USRC Midhad Hujdur – Huka, and in which our famous bh will perform. Artist Elvira Rahić – Suljić underlined.
Elvira Ćemalović, director of the Tourist Board of the City of Mostar, emphasized the tourist aspect of the event.
– This event has great tourist potential for our city and religious tourism. Mostar is recognized around the world, and through these events we will attract an even more visitors, which will contribute to the further promotion of the city as an attractive destination for tourists – said Zemalović.
