The Logistics Consortium of Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH) sent another open letter to the institutions due to the problems of the carriers and the upcoming blockades on March 23.
Their address to the public is, as they say, a reaction to yesterday’s meeting of the Working Group in Sarajevo.

“While the ministries are planning working groups that will sit until December 2026, the reality on the ground is as follows – 875 BiH drivers have already been returned from the borders. This is not a statistic, it is 875 destroyed families and companies that were left without their basic right – the right to work. Our people at the borders are treated as a security threat and migrants, while our country sends ‘diplomatic notes’ that no one reads”, claims the Consortium.
They also say that the businessmen support them while transporting their goods, but they easily plan to replace them with foreigners as soon as they demand their rights.
“We are telling them – a foreign carrier will take your last mark of profit, and we are the ones who have been building this country for years. We don’t want to join the European Union, you are forcing us. Many colleagues are moving companies to the EU in order to survive,” they say.
Complete suspension of goods traffic
They say that they are not blocking the state on March 23, even though the state blocked them with silence.
“It will be a complete suspension of the movement of goods. If the BiH driver cannot cross the border, neither will the goods. We reached out three times and postponed the protests. We have nowhere to go back. Our only condition for stopping the suspension is concrete, signed solutions, not new meetings. Gentlemen, on Monday, March 23, you are shutting down the engines of the BiH economy, because you have brought us to the wall,” they conclude, reports Focus.
