The war between Israel and Iran has generated a budget outlay of 35 billion shekels (about $11.52 billion), of which 22 billion is related to defense, Israel’s Finance Ministry said on Sunday, citing a preliminary estimate.
Estimates point to strong financial pressure on the state budget, while analysts warn that the overall costs of the conflict may rise further as operations continue.
It is stated that this amount is already included in the 2026 budget.
