Lithuanian Prime Minister Gintautas Paluckas deviated from office on Monday, which led to the resignation of the entire cabinet in accordance with the country’s constitution.
The Cabinet of Ministers Lithuania has resigned after a special meeting of the Lithuanian government.
From the Cabinet Pres Service, the ministers filed resigns after he had previously done Prime Minister Gintautas Paluckas, and that the decision was informed by the President of the State, TASS conveyed.
– It may sound dramatic, but I’m leaving office – you will continue your work as the actor while the new Prime Minister does not decide which changes will be made – said Paluckas.
Paluckas said he would submit a formal resignation to President Gitanas, Nazedi. He also thanked Ministers on cooperation during his mandate.
According to the Lithuanian Constitution, the resignation of the Prime Minister requires the resignation of the entire cabinet. According to the Government Act, the President must be informed of the decision on the same day.
