Yemen’s Iran-backed Houthi rebels on Monday announced a missile attack on Israel and declared a ban on Israeli shipping in the Red Sea, raising the likelihood of another major disruption on the key route.
– We declare a complete and total ban on Israeli maritime navigation in the Red Sea – it is stated in a statement by the Houthi armed forces, which also confirmed the first rocket attack on Israel since the beginning of April, reports AFP.
