She accused, as she stated, “instigators from the deep state and their propaganda media” of trying to undermine US President Donald Trump’s efforts to bring peace to Ukraine and Europe by spreading false narratives.
“Deep state instigators and their propaganda media are once again trying to undermine President Trump’s efforts to bring peace to Ukraine – and indeed Europe – by falsely claiming that the ‘US intelligence community’ agrees with and supports the EU/NATO position that Russia’s goal is to invade or conquer Europe (in order to gain support for their pro-war policies),” Gabbard said.
She emphasized that such claims were designed to create public support for pro-war policies and further escalate the conflict.
“It is true that US intelligence agencies estimate that Russia does not even have the capability to conquer and occupy Ukraine, let alone to ‘invade and occupy’ Europe,” she added.
