The FC girl described the dramatic moments and said that she was deeply shaken and did not want to go to school anymore. She stated that the gunman entered the classroom and said something like “no way out”, speaking in English, after which he started shooting.
She, together with another student, hid under the table, and at one point managed to escape through the window, injuring her leg. After being treated at the hospital, she was released for home treatment, but she still has a hard time coping with the trauma.
According to her, a schoolmate protected her with his body and was wounded, but survived and was operated on. She adds that she panicked and saw other students jump out of the window while the shooting continued in other classrooms, and then the deputy principal took her to the school bus and took her away.
The girl says that now she is constantly in fear, that she rarely leaves the house and that she has nightmares. She was particularly affected by the death of her friend and teacher Ajla, whom she says helped her to love mathematics earlier.
In the attack, according to the allegations, a fourteen-year-old entered the school armed with several guns and ammunition and opened fire on students and teachers. After the incident, the police arrested his parents, whose father is a former police inspector and whose mother is a teacher. It is also reported that his father took him to the shooting range two days earlier and filmed him shooting.
