Government of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina she brought, on suggestion Federal Ministry of Spatial PlanningDecision on the adoption of the program of spending funds “Current transfers to individuals – BEEP Revolving Fund” in the total amount of 1,450,000 KM for the year 2026.
The funds are intended for the realization of the Program for increasing energy efficiency and restoration of national monuments, and are distributed through three key project activities.
The largest part, 1,201,113.11 KM, is intended for the implementation of energy efficiency measures in 11 selected public buildings, in accordance with the list verified by German Development Bank KfW. An additional 119,759.68 KM is planned for the services of a project implementation consultant, while 129,127.21 KM is intended for the development and implementation of a communication strategy and social monitoring, as well as for support in the implementation and management of the fund.
The decision specified the criteria for the distribution of funds, and their allocation will be made in accordance with the dynamics of project implementation, international agreements and valid budget regulations.
The Federal Ministry of Spatial Planning will be in charge of monitoring the intended use of funds through the Project Implementation Unit, while the method and deadlines for reporting will be defined by separate contracts.
The Government points out that the “Energy efficiency in public buildings” project aims at the modernization and energy renovation of buildings, primarily in the education sector, which improves the quality of public services, reduces costs and contributes to environmental protection.
The implementation of this program is expected to make a wider contribution to economic and social development, as well as to global efforts to protect the climate.
