The Government of the Federation of BiH, on the proposal of the Federal Ministry of Labor and Social Policy, adopted by two programs of distribution criteria within the current transfers of the FBiH’s budget for 2025.
For co-financing the work of social protection institutions for the disposal of two million KM
The first decision adopted was adopted by the asset consumption program intended to co-financing the work of social protection institutions for disposal at the level of the Federation of BiH in the amount of 2,000,000 KM.
The distribution of these funds will be performed in accordance with the general and special criteria established by this Decision. The purpose of this program is to create assumptions for quality social care and social support through the creation of conditions for the uninterrupted regular functioning of institutions whose current business is endangered by insufficient income from their own activity. The beneficiary of these funds is the Institution for Social Disposal, Education and Education Sarajevo.
The Federal Ministry of Labor and Social Policy will request the relevant documentation through the official act with the aim of determining the qualification for the allocation of funds. After the evaluation procedures, the Federal Minister of Labor and Social Policy will decide on funds based on which the Ministry with a Qualified User will conclude a contract to determine the use of budget funds, as well as other issues of the legitimate and transparent consumption.
The decision prescribes and the type of costs for which the funds can be used and the manner of reporting.
1.5 million KM to support safe houses and accommodation of victims of domestic violence
The second decision was adopted by the program of consumption of funds intended for the implementation of the Law on Protection against Domestic Violence, in the amount of 1,500,000. It is support for safe houses and shelters for accommodation for victims of domestic violence. The distribution of funds will be performed in accordance with the General and Special Criteria, 1,000,000 KM is intended for the victims of the Federation of BiH through co-financing their labor and business costs in the FBiH Field of FBiH as part of which the safe houses or shelters that provide temporary accommodation to victims of domestic violence. For the purpose of securing social care and social support to the victims of domestic violence through equipping the safe house in the Western Herzegovina Canton, 500,000 KM was intended, and the beneficiary of these funds is the Center for Social Work Ljubuski.
The Federal Ministry of Labor and Social Policy will announce a public call for funds, the integral text of the public call will be published on the website of this ministry, and the notification of announcing a public call in two daily lists. With the aim of determining the funds for the award of the Funds for the Social Work Center, the Ljubuški Federal Ministry of Labor and Social Policy will request the relevant documentation through the official act.
