As a result of the demolition, i.e. the removal of the structure of the former company Rudstroj in Kakanj, there was a partial collapse and damage to the lightning rod, which has radioactive content in it.
The State Regulatory Agency for Radiation and Nuclear Safety was notified, whose representatives went to the field and carried out an investigation, and ordered the suspension of work on these objects, which are in the possession of Adis Delibašić, the owner of the company Deli Prom doo Kakanj, until the aforementioned lightning rod is safely removed, the Federal Administration of Civil Protection announced.
In order to eliminate the immediate danger to people, it is necessary for the competent inspection to take measures to install video surveillance and cover the area and building of the facility of the former company Rudstroj, which is owned by Delibašić, in order to prevent people from entering the area of the radiation zone, until other safety measures are established or the facility is removed and the radioactive lightning rod is relocated in accordance with legal procedures.
