The organizational team of Continental Blidinje Bika Festival is proud to publish that the official and final date of this year’s festival was confirmed.
After various challenges and previous changes, we want to sincerely apologize to everyone who may have been confused or in uncertainty. We thank your understanding and patience from your heart, because our community we gather around this festival is most important.
Now it is safe – ninth edition Continental Blidinje Bike Festivaland will take place from 11. until 13. July 2025. Years!
We are convinced that this year this year will be a real cycling spectacle in the heart of nature, and our team has been diligently working to raise the organization’s scale even more.
Date changes were not the result of negligence, but a complex process of harmonization with numerous international and domestic sports institutions. Namely, the Continental Blidinje Bike Festival is not just a recreational event; he became A recognizable sports competition On the international scene, with races that carry a prestigious UCI 1 mark. This level of competition requires strictly respect for the Calendar of the International Bicycle Federation (UCI), Balkan Bicycle Union (BCU) and the National Association, with further harmonization with the events of Blidinje Nature Park.
This year, organizational challenges were particularly expressed because it is Hero Uci The Marathon World Cup scheduled in the same period. The rules of the UCI are clear – the events of that level must not overlap. We were a difficult decision ahead of us: to move the race to August or reconcile with a lower category of organization, which would mean reducing the international importance of the event.
But believing the value that the festival brings not only to the athletes but also the local community and the tourism of the region, we sent an appeal to the UCI. In the letter, we emphasized the importance of continuity and the fact that the festival has already gathered top athletes, recreationists and nature lovers in a row. To our great satisfaction, the UCI recognized the effort and significance that the festival has got us out to us, commented Toni ZorićPresident of the Bicycle Association of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

This year’s edition of the festival brings a rich three-day program In which everyone will, regardless of age and level of readiness, find something for themselves. Professional races will take place on two closely selected paths that pass through the most picturesque parts of the Blidinje Nature Park.

Evening programs, live music and gatherings under Star Nebi Blidinje are converted by this sports event in the three-day festival of community, healthy life and nature of nature.
