During the meeting, they discussed the club’s past activities, as well as plans for the next period, where it was pointed out that badminton in Bihać gained importance again during the past year and attracted a larger number of young athletes.
Special attention is paid to the organization of camps and sports gatherings through which, in addition to the popularization of badminton, the tourist potential of the city of Bihać is also promoted.
Mayor Sedić introduced the club’s representatives to the possibilities that the City offers to young people, athletes and sports associations, especially when it comes to projects and public calls to which they can apply in order to ensure support for their activities.
– I believe that not a single brand invested in sports is lost, on the contrary, such investments are returned many times over, both to the community and to those who play sports. That is why we will be happy to support initiatives that contribute to the development of sports in Bihać – said Sedic.
Representatives of the Badminton Club “Una” pointed out that they want to continue developing this sport in Bihać and additionally involve young people in sports activities, with the expectation that through new ideas and cooperation with the City of Badminton, they will achieve even more significant results in the coming period.
