The LOGISTICS OF BOSNIA AND HERZEGOVINA consortium, which brings together more than 600 legal entities from the transport sector, in the public and open letter to the Minister of Communications and Transport of BiH, Edin Forti, accusing unfulfilled promises, manipulation and ignoring the carrier’s request.
The letter states that Minister Forto 1725 was promised by the Coordination Committee, the fulfillment of the four key requirements, which carried out the carriers that, in good will, the protest and application of the so-called “French model”. However, as they claim from the consortium, the Minister did not fulfill any promise or started concrete steps towards solving problems.
“The carriers were played, Minister Forto was consciously deceived us,” says in the letter signed by prof. Dr. Velibor Peulić, the main coordinator of the consortium.
As a particularly controversial, the adoption of the Rulebook on Licenses is highlights without any consultations with the carrier representatives. According to the consortium, the Ordinance affects a small number of individuals, while most sectors marginalize and further burdens.
The consortium announces that no new deadlines will be further given and will be held by the session of the Plenum and the Board of Directors, where concrete measures will be made, including the possible activation of the “French model” – roadblocks and border crossings.
“We employ 47,000 citizens and invested more than 4 billion euros in the transport industry. Our sector is a bloodstream economy, and you consciously betrayed us,” said in the letter.

If until 9. May is not met by their requirements – Changes in the licensee rulebook, the adoption of the Rulebook on Excise Returns and other key issues – the activation of announced measures follows.
