The British King and Queen paid tribute to the victims of the September 11 attacks

Words of condolence were included in the message in honor of the thousands of people who lost their lives in New York almost 25 years ago, reports Hina.

A ‘Reflection of Absence’ memorial was erected to those who died – the twin waterfalls at the site of the North and South Towers of the World Trade Center that collapsed in the terrorist attacks.

The king and queen laid a bouquet of white roses at the edge of the south pool. They were joined by media mogul and former New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg, president of the 9/11 Memorial Museum.

Charles III. at the ceremony he also met with the mayor of New York, Zohran Mamdani.
