Organized by the Ministry of Economy of Zenica-Doboj Canton, Thursday 12. June 2026. year, starting at 6:30 p.m., a traditional annual event “20 best”.
– The economy of the Zeničiko-Doboj Canton is the spine of the economy of Bosnia and Herzegovina. We lacked one of this manifestation just to give a recognition to all those who contributed to it. And regardless of the small, medium or large, they are all deserving that the ZDK today is known for the industrial and investment in the region in this part of Europe – said the Minister of Economy ZDK Samir Šibonjić.
According to Šibonjić, in the CPD, the largest post-war investment was implemented in Vareš, and this canton is a leader in the production of chicken meat and food industry, the metal industry, and the mining – energy potential is among the largest in the Western Balkans.
– We have two most important fairs of the economy Tešanjski and General BH Fair ZEPS, of which ZEPS is also the largest in the state. But what is most important, our people are capable and entrepreneurial, able to create a new value that makes them competitive in the market. That is why this annual and I hope the traditional economic event “20 best!” The crown of efforts of all, and the Ministry of whose forehead, on the forefront, was only recognized by all these achievements and that is why I am extremely happy and proud as Minister Sibonjic.
The event will be assigned awards and plaques to the most successful companies that are in 2024. year achieved outstanding business results. The awards were granted in the categories of micro, small and medium enterprises, as well as for the five largest exporters from the CCC.
A special recognition of the “Bosnian Royal Dukat” will be presented to the most prominent companies as a symbol of the long-term statehood of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the forces of the Zenica-Doboj Canton, whose successful history reaches even in the time of Bosnian kings lived and ruled in this area.
The event will be organized and a round table entitled “Digitization of the ZDK economy – preparation of collective digital promotional materials”, in which promotional films for all industries present in our canton will be presented for the first time. This initiative aims to improve the visibility of the domestic economy on digital platforms and the international market.
