This means that the competitors, in addition to cash prizes of a total value of 30 thousand US dollars, will also fight for ATP points and a better ranking on the ATP list.
The organizers say that the audience can expect top matches in individual competition, as well as in pairs, with free admission to all matches, as before.
“Juicy Kiseljak open” in its previous editions has produced a large number of excellent tennis players, such as Francisco Cerundolo, Damir Džumhur, Mata Pavić, Gialuigi Quinzi and many others, and what particularly pleases the local audience is the performance of Ivan Biletić.
The municipality of Kiseljak has been a partner and co-organizer of the tournament since the very beginning.
– Here tennis is more than a game, we actually live tennis all year round and as soon as this tournament is over, preparations for next year begin – said Mladen Mišurić Ramljak, mayor of Kiseljak, opening the tennis tournament.
Svjetlan Stanić, the president of the Stanić Group, which is the general sponsor of the event, confirmed his support for this event in the future at the opening.
The event was supported by Lidija Bradara, the president of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina under whose patronage the tournament is held, then by the Federal Ministry of Culture and Sports, the Ministry of Education, Youth, Science, Culture and Sports of the Central Bosnian Canton, the Ministry of Civil Affairs of Bosnia and Herzegovina and numerous other sponsors.
The first matches start today, when the first day of qualification takes place. The main part of the draw starts on June 9, and there will be room for 32 tennis players. There will be 16 pairs in the main doubles tournament. The final matches and closing ceremony of the tournament is on June 14.
The organizers invited tennis fans to come and enjoy top matches, cheer on their favorites, and along with a good game on the court, they can also enjoy a stay in an area ideal for rest.
