In the premises of the Jedica Zenica Association, the organization that operates more than three decades as a symbol of the human rights and vulnerable groups, today is a visit to the delegation from the Republic of Moldova. The delegation was led by Vasile Cušac, State Secretary of the Ministry of Labor and Social Policy, and Tatiana Petros, Project of the Council of Europe – Office in Kinjevo.
The study visit was implemented within the Partnership between the Council of Europe – Offices in Moldova and Medica Zenica, and its goal was to exchange experiences, good practices, as well as insighted by refugees, migrants, women, children and persons with difficulties in various social contexts.
On behalf of the Government of Zenica-Doboj Canton, Prime Minister Nezir Pivić, who sent a warm welcome to the guests and highlighted the importance of cooperation between the civil sector and institutions.
– Our canton remains a consistent commitment to build a society in which each person has the right to safety, dignity and support – especially those most vulnerable among us. Such encounters show how much we can achieve when working together on common values: equality, solidarity and care for man – said Prime Minister Nezir Pivić.
The visit was lasted in the sign of constructive exchange of experiences, presenting the MEDICA Zenica work model and talks on the challenges in the provision of marginalized groups in the context of migration and social protection.
