A group of third-grade secondary technical schools in Difficulty, the Economic Technician has launched an ambitious project entitled “Influence of the Construction of the Corridor VC in the Municipality of Tešanj and Doboj South”. With this project, they participate in the competition organized by Civitas entitled ‘Citizen Project’. Through this project, students want to investigate how the construction of this important highway will affect economy, traffic, environment and daily life of citizens in the municipalities.
Corridor VC is one of the most important infrastructure projects in Bosnia and Herzegovina, and its passage through Tešanj brings many opportunities, but also challenges. Students have decided to process this topic through analyzes, research and interviews with experts and the local population to better understand potential changes.
“We want to contribute through this project to address the problem and challenges that can be created by the Corridor Vc. We believe that youth is heard and to give our contribution to the development of our community,” students have emphasized.
The project will include several key aspects:
Economic influence – how the highway will affect local businesses and economies.
Traffic changes – What advantages and challenges brings new infrastructure.
The environmental factor – how the construction will affect the natural environment and the life of citizens.
Students plan the results of their research to present through presentations, discussions and the final report that will be able to use local authorities and interested organizations. Their goal is not only to acquire new knowledge, but also encourage the wider community to actively engage in the planning and decision-making process on this significant project.
Through this engagement, young people show that education can be practically and useful for the community, and how students can actively participate in the development of its municipality and the Municipality of Doboj South. The Project of the Medical Technical School Tešanj, ie student direction the economic technician, is proof that young people are interested in the future of their environment and willing to give their contribution to its progress.
