Croatian coach Igor Štimac said that there is a mutual desire to continue cooperation with Zrinjski, after the Mostar club ended the season in the championship of Bosnia and Herzegovina in second place with a 3-0 victory against city rival Velež.
At the club’s press conference, the Croatian expert said that he would final decision to follow after talking with the club management and analyzing the season.
There is a mutual desire, but some things we have to clear up and discuss, where were the problems and why. I want to see in which segments the club can go to an even higher levelsaid Štimac.

He added that he would be more than happy to continue cooperation if the most successful team from Bosnia and Herzegovina is ready for new breakthroughs.
Zrinjski finished this season in second place behind Borac from Banja Luka. In the club’s display cases, they were rotten Super Cup and Cup of Bosnia and Herzegovina. The Croatian sports club from Mostar achieved the most notable European breakthrough in the club’s history this season. He played for the first time in the league stage of the Conference League, and the competition ended in the knockout stage with a defeat against Crystal Palace, an English club that will play the final of that competition tomorrow against the Spanish Rayo Vallecano.
Štimac signed with Zrinjski two-year contractbut with the agreement that after the first season, an analysis of what was done will be done.
Information appeared in the media earlier that Štimac could leave Zrinjsko, and that one of the possible successors is the Slovenian Simon Rožman. The club rejected those allegations as incorrect.
