Darijo Srna was a guest at Transfermarkt as part of a media campaign in which legends choose 26 players they would take to the World Cup if they were the national team’s players. There are a few surprises in Srna’s list, which you can see in the post below.

Perhaps the absence of Martin Baturina stands out the most, but Srna’s list does not include Nikola Vlašić, Duje Ćaleta-Car, Marin Pongracić, Igor Matanović, Petar Musa, Nikola Moro, Kristijan Jakić, Toni Fruk, Ivan Smolčić… All of the players that Dalić has been calling up regularly lately.
While the public is having fun putting together their lists, Dalić’s announcement of the passengers to the World Cup is awaited. The Croatian coach will announce on Monday, May 18 expands the list of candidatesand the final list will be published on June 1.
