Signature of contracts with sports clubs from Maglaj, which are covered by the Law on Clubs of Special Importance for ZDK, is organized today in the cabinet of the Prime Minister of Maglaj.
The “Maglaj” Club and the Natron Club “Natron” Maglaj was granted 70.003,00 KM, while the Novi Seher “Soccer Club” went 36,993.00 KM.
This year, Zenica-Doboj Canton increased the Budget for Sports with 2 to 5 million KM. The government has provided KM 3 million to recover the most trophy sports collectives, while 2 million KM will be distributed for clubs not covered by the Law on Clubs of Special Importance, through regular funding, as in previous years.
According to Prime Minister Nezir Pivić, with 5 million KM separation for sports, the canton is approaching a separation of 1 percent of the budget, which is considered an optimal level of investment in sports.
– We wanted to help the clubs with tradition, which were rated as special importance clubs for ZDK. We are aware that this is not enough to achieve top results, but certainly represents an additional injection for clubs. It is also this message, but also the invitation to private entrepreneurs to invest more in sports and see that the canton is behind these clubs – Prime Minister Pivić said.
Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sports Mirza Mushi, is aware of the importance of investing in sports, and that the law is recognized by one or two clubs from each local community, while some investments are focused on sports infrastructure, in accordance with local commitments.
– Our tendency is to raise sports to the level that deserves and that in our sports halls in every city and municipality we return the contents and audiences. Our canton has a sports tradition and we have clubs that need a little to make excellent results – he pointed out a fly.
Through the Law on Clubs of special importance, sports collectives from all cities and municipalities, except the municipality of Tešanj and Doboj South, which will direct the municipal authorities in the construction of sports infrastructure.
The Mayor of Tešanj Suad Huskić said that there are two auxiliary football fields and athletic trails in the plan, where it will be approved by 228,000 KM, and the local sports clubs will be increased from the municipal budget.
The Municipality of Doboj South, led by the Chief of Mirnes Tukić, will invest in the construction of the sports infrastructure approved by 78,000 KM.
The Municipality of Maglaj Maid Suljaković and representatives of sports clubs thanked the Government of the Zenica-Doboj Canton on the approved financial support, emphasizing that this is an important step towards the system’s system of financing.
– The Law on Clubs of Special Importance is quality and good and is a significant financial support for clubs. I’m looking forward to the Government does not work ad hoc solutions, but has a strategic approach to strengthening sports, “Suljakovic said.
