Club Brugge, led by Croatian coach Ivan Leko, and Madrid’s Atletico played 3-3 in the first game of the playoffs for the Champions League round of 16. In Norway, Bodo/Glimt beat Inter 3-1, and Bayer Leverkusen beat Olympiakos 2-0 in Piraeus.
Club Brugge and Atletico Madrid played a dramatic first match of the playoffs to reach the round of 16 of this season’s football Champions League, which ended without a winner. 3-3.
Club Brugge, Ivan Leka’s team, trailed by both 0-2 and 2-3, but still avoided defeat until the end and will go to Madrid next week with hope.
Already in the eighth minute, Atletico took the lead in Brugge after penalty kick awarded for the guests, and Alvarez was a sure performer. Inter defeated in Norway
Unpredictable, playful and extreme the dangerous Norwegian Bodo Glimt made another big surprise, beating current European runners-up Inter Milan 3-1 at home.
Bodo took the lead after a great move in the 20th minute. Everything was played quickly by the local players, and Hogh’s assist with the heel for Fet, who scored for 1-0, was particularly lucid.
