Široki’s basketball players scored an important victory in the 18th round of the BiH Championship in GSD Pecara against the Jahorina team with a score of 81-71.
After the beginning of the game was in the same rhythm, the visitors started to separate more seriously in the middle of the first quarter. Two minutes before the end, they reach a double-digit advantage for the first time (16-26). With baskets by Bošnjak, MC Creary and Čović, Široki reduces it to -4 (24-28).
In the second quarter, it was mostly played basket after basket. The teams alternated in the minimal lead, and at halftime it was a three-pointer from Trice, who scored for 49-46.
Tight fight it continued at the beginning of the second half. Three minutes before the end of the third quarter the teams Jahorine it goes to 55-60, which was a signal to the coach of the home team, Marijan Bagarić, for a time-out. After the break, Siroki’s team managed to lead 63-62, but Kovačević restored the lead to 63-64.
Široki succeeded in the last quarter separate into nine differences four minutes before the end (75-66). The visitors tried to come back, but in the end the home team celebrated a safe victory.
Šuroki was led by Dmytryk Trice with 23 points, six rebounds and six assists. MC Creary added 19 points and 14 rebounds, and Škedelj had 12 points and 10 rebounds. Marko Kovačević was the most effective for the guests with 27 points.
