The Supreme Shith Leader in Iraq, Ayatolah, Ali Sistani, warned that the Israeli Attempted Attack on Iranian Supreme Management could push the Middle East to an uncontrolled war.
In the statement reported by the Iranian Agency Mehr, the Sistani points out that such an act would be a violation of international law and led to “widespread chaos that would worsen the suffering of the people in the region.”
He called on the international community to take steps towards a peaceful solution of the conflict and the end of Israeli attacks on Iran.
Sistani, who has a huge authority among Shiite Muslims in Iraq and around the world, said that further escalation could have “terrible consequences for all sides.”
