Former professional footballer and former representative of Bosnia and Herzegovina Ivan Sesar commented on his recent statement that he made as a guest on the show “Retro football” on MY TV about FK Sarajevo and his support for that club.
He felt, as he claims, the need to tell about the portal Jabuka.tv “the real story and the truth” about that statement, the relationship with FK Sarajevo, as well as the relationship with the parent club NK Široki Brijeg.
Ivan Sesar contacted the newsroom after the publication of his statement about being a fan of FK Sarajevo, saying that he wanted to tell his side of the story and explain why he special emotions according to the Sarajevo club.
Sesar’s side of the story
At the beginning he emphasized how he I don’t care about comments on social networks and that the reason for his appearance was not reader reactions.

He pointed out that he believes that NK Široki Brijeg has been behind for years hid the real truth about his relationship with the club.

Sesar remembered in 2011when after terminating his contract with Lokomotiv, he wanted to train in his home club. He claims that his coach at the time Branko Karačić did not allow him to train with the team.
I came to Blato, where the same Branko Karačić did not allow me to train with those boys in my home club. He didn’t let me put on my football boots and do the training, Sesar said, adding that’s what they exist for numerous witnesses.
Sarajevo reached out to him
Not long after that he signed for FC Sarajevowhich he describes as one of the most important moments in life.
Sarajevo reached out to me when my home club turned its back on me. And now and always for the rest of my life I will say yes I love Sarajevothat I love the Sarajevo Football Club and Sarajevo as a city. Why? Because it is Sarajevo from my personal experience deserved ithe stated.
He especially emphasized that it is right through Sarajevo built his career.

Sesar also spoke about his earlier departure from Široki Brijeg to Zagreb, claiming that at that time his parent club did not receive compensation for player development.
He also recalled the transfer to Lokomotiv, when, according to him, NK Široki Brijeg still got the money.
Zdravko Mamić then paid Široka Brijeg 100,000 euros for Ivan Sesar. No one from the club has ever said that publiclysaid Sesar.
