German Chancellor Olaf Scholz emphasized the importance of holding the perspective of Ukraine’s membership in the European Union open and at the same time sharply rejected the charges that Ukraine is guilty of Russian invasion.

“Ukraine must not be restrained in his decision to be a democratic, independent nation on his way to Europe,” said Olaf Scholz.

He rejected the accusations of the US President Donald Trump to the account of Ukraine that he was guilty of Russian invasion himself.

“Ukraine is not fault. We in Europe insist on it,” Scholz said.

He said that in every future agreement between Russia and Ukraine, it should be defined that Ukraine may possess a strong army.

After the US and Russia’s meeting, Germany and Russia and the Statement of the US Deputy Prime Minister JD Vance at the Munich Security Conference last weekend, rejected attempts to decide on the fate of Ukraine without participating in the European Union.
