The Ministry of Defense of Saudi Arabia announced on Wednesday that nine drones had been intercepted and destroyed in the past few hours.
These incidents occurred despite the recently declared two-week ceasefire between the US and Iran, brokered by Pakistan, which Islamabad said would also apply to Israel and Lebanon.
However, continued attacks across the region have raised questions about the sustainability and actual scope of the ceasefire, with numerous reports of ongoing drone and missile attacks despite the deal.
