Thousands of citizens and visitors had the opportunity to participate in sports competitions, panel discussions, artistic performances, film screenings and inspiring talks with top athletes. The festival, which began with the symbolic burning of the Olympic flame on Bjelašnica, continued the tradition of the preservation of the Olympic Spirit under the slogan “Keep The Flame Alive”.
“This year we managed to include a larger number of young people, athletes and artists, giving them an opportunity to express themselves, learn and inspire each other. Sarajevo and his Olympic spirit deserve such events, and our goal is to become a long-term tradition that will inspire future generations, “said the director of Sarajevo Olympic Week, Din Pehlivanovic.
During the festival, numerous activities were held, which celebrated the Olympic values of excellence, friendship and respect. The program included a series of inspiring conversations “Olympic Stories with …” in the Olympic Museum, where prominent athletes Razi Mujanović and Ismail Barlov participated.
Sport lovers enjoyed mini hockey tournaments, Curling School and Inclusive sports companies, while film enthusiasts had the opportunity to see documentary and feature films within the Olympic Cinema.
Music events on Bjelasnica and Ilidi have further enriched the festival atmosphere, and especially the concerts of Adija Shosce and Spectacular Parties on Chill & Thrill Stage and others attracted a large number of visitors and contributed to the unforgettable festival experience .
