Rubio also talked to the Indian Foreign Minister Subrahmanyam Jaishankar, expressing condescending for the dead and confirmed the commitment to Washington to fight terrorism in cooperation with India.
“He also encouraged India to cooperate with Pakistan in order to reduce the tension and preservation of peace and security in South Asia,” he was added to the statement.
Both calls followed the moment of reinforced tensions between the two nuclear armed neighbors. India charged Pakistan for the attack, claiming that there are “cross-border” connections with responsible.
Pakistan has distinguished from the attack, expressing concerns and offered cooperation in the implementation of an independent international investigation.
Meanwhile, India decided to suspend the Multi-Partition Water Agreement in Indo, which caused the conviction of Islamabad.
The two countries also closed the border crossings and further worsened already disturbed diplomatic relations.
